mexico

Today the weather has been a crazy mix of snow and rain, so it’s been a joy to sort through hundreds of photos from our week in Mexico. Our trip began in San Miguel de Allende, where my grandparents live, and ended in Mexico City.

As you can see, color and sun abound and it truly felt like the perfect place to recharge in the middle of winter.

aztec inspired prints + patterns

Because I’m dreaming of Mexico (we leave on Saturday, for a week in the sun!), and I’m always inspired by colorful and bold geometric designs.

welcome, judah

Hope everyone’s new year is off to a great start! As I take this time to get organized and gather my list of goals for 2012, I thought it would be fun to share a custom design I worked on right before the holidays. Our dear friends Brynn and Erica asked me to design a holiday card/birth announcement, for their second child due in mid-December. I love how the illustrated pinecone pattern combined with the vintage quality of the fonts and photo creates a magical feel to the card. Congrats to a beautiful family!

ps- if you haven’t ordered your 2012 calendar yet, it’s not too late- grab one now for only $18 right here!

2012 planners

With each new year I get pretty serious about finding the perfect weekly planner, which is why I’ve rounded up some of my favorites for 2012. I love the fun colors, patterns and textures of these spiral bound options. Good thing I have a few more weeks to decide!
