Ink & Spindle recently debuted a new selection of fabrics, including apparel weight, that I am swooning over. I would love a dining chair or four with the linear mustard print. Visit their shop for more beautiful textiles!

Love this song from New Multitudes, the new collaborative album in honor of Woody Guthrie’s 100th Birthday. You can read more about it and watch a preview video over on the All Songs Considered blog.

These framed wallpaper patterns from Cavern are so pretty. I’ve always loved the combination of pattern design and wall art. That was actually the inspiration behind my art print collection, which I hope to develop more in the future. For now, it’s back to work on wedding invitations!

Amidst this busy wedding season, I’m in the process of creating new card designs for spring. Here are a couple new patterns inspired by our recent trip to Mexico.

I’m really admiring the latest work by my very talented friend and Belgian artist Patricia Ghijsens Ezcurdia.

I’m so excited to debut a new feature for the blog: free printables! I thought it would be fun to start with these sweet Valentine’s Day cards. So grab some paper and write your loved ones a note!

Today the weather has been a crazy mix of snow and rain, so it’s been a joy to sort through hundreds of photos from our week in Mexico. Our trip began in San Miguel de Allende, where my grandparents live, and ended in Mexico City.

As you can see, color and sun abound and it truly felt like the perfect place to recharge in the middle of winter.

Because I’m dreaming of Mexico (we leave on Saturday, for a week in the sun!), and I’m always inspired by colorful and bold geometric designs.

Hope everyone’s new year is off to a great start! As I take this time to get organized and gather my list of goals for 2012, I thought it would be fun to share a custom design I worked on right before the holidays. Our dear friends Brynn and Erica asked me to design a holiday card/birth announcement, for their second child due in mid-December. I love how the illustrated pinecone pattern combined with the vintage quality of the fonts and photo creates a magical feel to the card. Congrats to a beautiful family!
